I, As a Writer,

I, as a writer, am crazier
Than a police chase.

I put action
And drama
Into my words as a bank robber
Puts the pedal to the metal.

I drift between love
And hate
Trying to flee
This boring life.

With others chasing close behind
I push beyond
The boundaries they set.

I then end with a crash.

Seemingly apprehended,
I escape confinement,
And live to dream another day.
