Today is Wednesday, March 12, a Day 5
Lunch today: Hamburger Steak
Hoʻike and Dance:
On Friday 3/14/14, our middle school students will be treated to a special matinee showing of “The Battle of Kuamo’o.” This excellent production by our high school students is an opera that takes the audience on a journey that illustrates an event that forever altered Hawaiian civilization. After the opera, students will return to campus for lunch and will then be able to change out of their school uniforms into appropriate attire for our “Spring Fling Dance.”
No laptops and lanyards on Friday:
There will be no classes on Friday and therefore students are asked to keep their laptops at home. Students who mistakenly bring their laptops to school will have their laptops locked securely in their Ho’oulu bins. Students are also not required to wear their ID/lanyard on that day.
Up Coming Middle School Events This Week:
• Early Release at 1:45 pm today and all this week for Student-Led Conferences
• No After School Hula class today due to Early Release
• Band Rehearsal for Trip Participants only today from 3:30-5:00
• Spring Fling Dance on Friday – come in your school uniform and bring spring-colored casual clothes to change into for the dance.
• Spring Break next week – No School!
I lā maikaʻi!
