Poem–In–Your–Pocket Day, April 15
Remember PIYP Day, April 15. Suggestion: Limericks work well for a PIYP. They are short (only 5 lines) and funny and has an AABBA rhyme scheme. Here’s an example, but you can do better than this:
There was a young fellow of Wheeling
Endowed with such delicate feeling
When he read on the door,
“Don’t spit on the floor”
He jumped up and spat on the ceiling!
