Recycling:
Our first collection of recyclables is today, outside of EAʻS workroom in building 2. Please send 2 students from each advisory to deliver bins with paper and cardboard boxes (broken down).
Attention 8th Graders:
The KS Hawaiʻi campus 8th grade will be cleaning up rubbish from Hilo area beaches as a service project as part of the International Coastal Cleanup Day. During this day people throughout the world are working on conserving and cleaning up beaches. This year our 8th grade will also be collecting data on the type and amount of trash cleaned up. We will compare our data to the 8th grade KS Kapalama class that is conducting beach cleanups on various Oʻahu beaches on the same day. Make sure students hand in permission slips to Dr. Englund by September 6.
