ʻOi Kelakela Shirts today:
On every upload day (DAY 1), students who do not have any outstanding detention obligations may wear their ‘Oi Kelakela t-shirts with their free-dress bottoms and free-dress footwear.
- Free-dress bottoms includes jeans, surfer shorts, and other non-uniform attire that has been approved by school administration.
- Free-dress bottoms does NOT include pajama bottoms, sweat pants, leggings, overly tight-fitting pants, or jeans with revealing holes.
- Free-dress shorts/skirts for girls must extend below your fingertips when your arms are to your side!
- Free-dress footwear includes athletic shoes of varied colors or sandals with a backstrap. No slippers, Crocs, or slip-ons!
7th and 8th graders who want to purchase another ‘Oi Kelakela t-shirt may do so by bringing in $10 to the middle school office.
Hydroflasks are now allowed at Kula Waena! Contents should be water only. Stay hydrated!
This message is for all students who are staying on campus after 1:45 pm on Wednesdays for one of the following reasons:
- Riding on one of the shared-bus routes & waiting for the elementary school day to end at 2:40 pm
- Participating in rehearsals/practices/performances for Band, Percussion Ensemble, Drama, or Hawaiian Ensemble & waiting for teachersʻ meetings to end at 3:30 pm
- Participating in practices/games for a middle school sport & waiting for coaches and/or representatives of KS Athletics to arrive
Supervision for these students will be provided in the dining hall from 1:45 – 3:30 pm. All students will need to bring their laptops in order to log in for attendance purposes.
Students who are on campus after 1:45 pm on Wednesdays and are NOT in one of the three categories shown above will need to sign in with Kamaaina Kids.
