End of Trimester 2 on Thursday, 2/12 – modified schedule and Pilina Activity & Paʻina. Please come to school dressed as follows:
Boys – swim shorts, PE shirt and shoes
Girls – swimsuit under PE uniform (shorts & shirt) and shoes
Please bring a towel, slippers and change of clothes for after the activities.
There will be no practice on Monday, Feb 9th, for the middle boys basketball team.

Carnation Sale for Valentineʻs Day: Last Day ! Today is the last day to send a carnation to a friend. Carnations are $1.50 and can be purchased at recess. Flowers w/your custom card will be delivered on Wed, February 11. All proceeds go to support Hawaiian Children in need through the Queen Lili’uokalani Trust Fund.
Mahalo to Petner’s Purple Pandas, Kumu Kimo’s Killa Kids, Kulia (Mrs. Helm’s Advisory), Heiheimakani (Mr. Bowman’s Advisory), and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Thompsons for volunteering to perform school service tasks such as:
Affixing mailing labels on envelopes
Weeding and mulching
Transporting daily food waste to our compost pile
Shredding cardboard
Organizing and inputting curriculum library inventory
Scrubbing green algae from sidewalks
Their fine efforts have earned them a modest, yet well-deserved amount of service points that get applied to their overall ‘Apu Lanakila total.

Middle School KS Athletes
On practice days other than Wednesdays, all students with after school practices need to remain near the bus ramp area. You will be excused from the bus ramp at 3:30 pm to walk to your respective practice locations.
