Quote of the Day:
SY 2019-2020 ʻOi Kelakela Coupons
Mahalo to all of our students for really stepping it up and demonstrating perseverance and grit in this last trimester of the school year! Weʻre over ½ way through our time “together” in this adjustment to Distance Learning and we applaud the efforts you are putting in to adjust to these uncertain times – to honor and respect your responsibilities as a student by continually demonstrating care for your KS peers and property, as well as doing your best on assignments and assessments for each of your classes! Mahalo for making good decisions and working hard all year long! A decision was recently made with regards to our ʻOi Kelakela coupons that are currently in circulation:
- Current 6th and 7th graders will be able to redeem coupons for special treats during a specially designated time in SY 2020-2021 (hopefully the pandemic curve will continue to flatten and we will be seeing each other for Trimester 1 this coming AUGUST!)
- Current 8th graders will be able to redeem coupons either at:
- A special laptop drop-off and yearbook pick-up date at the MS bus ramp, or
- At a special redemption day later in the year if campus remains closed down at the end of May.
Of course, if students choose to do so … because our ʻApu Lanakila competition is definitely STILL ON, current 6th/7th/8th grade students can always redeem coupons for advisory and grade level points. For a limited time only, the redemption rate for ʻOi Kelakela coupons will be 1 COUPON = 250 ʻAPU LANAKILA POINTS. Students wishing to redeem T3 coupons for their advisory and grade level can mail coupons with their name/advisory to the following address:
Kamehameha Schools Hawaii – Kula Waena
16-712 Volcano Road
Keaʻau, Hawaiʻi. 96749
Coupons received by the end of the day on Friday 05.08.20 will be applied to the overall standings for T3 and for the year!
