Pauahi Week- October 15th- 18th:
Once again we will be hosting “Pauahi Week” here at our Hawaiʻi Campus. “Pauahi Week” is scheduled for October 15th- 18th, where we honor our benefactor, Ke Aliʻi Bernice Pauahi Bishop, for her vision, kindness, and generosity.
To participate in the special dress days, staff and student will be required to purchase Pauahi Wristbands. These wristbands are 2$ and all proceeds will be donated to the Ke Aliʻi Bernice Pauahi Bishop Foundation. The foundations sponsor numerous scholarships for both Kamehameha students and non- Kamehameha students to pursue post-secondary educational opportunities.
Sales of the Pauahi Wristbands will take place from September 23rd- October 4th during 1st recess at Huina. Staff and students who wish to participate must purchase a Pauahi wristband or will be required to wear our regular uniform for the week.

Today’s Borrow Me! Humor Book
Ronan Boyle and the Bridge of Riddles by Thomas Lennon – “Fourteen-year-old Ronan Boyle is the youngest and lowliest recruit to the secret Garda, an Irish police force that handles the misdeeds of numerous magical creatures. Ronan’s parents are in jail, but Ronan is convinced that they were framed by the wee people. So, despite his small size, poor eyesight, and social awkwardness, he’s determined to learn all he can in the Garda in order to prove his parents’ innocence. To show he’s got what it takes, he’ll have to confront a fiery leprechaun, a sinister harpy, and a whole world of monsters hidden in plain sight next to real-life Ireland.” (amazon.com)
