Just to clarify … students serving detention during pūpū ʻai must still sign up for a pūpū ʻai session, report to that session, AND get permission from that kumu to come to the office for detention.
Kumu have the final say whether or not students are allowed to come to the office for detention. We do not mandate that they show up during that block.
