Thanks to dedicated PTO volunteers, we are thrilled to offer each student a FREE BOOK OF CHOICE during their classroom visit! We also buy back gently used books and donate them to schools in our community. Earn $0.50 per book and use it as credit towards your purchase. Email [email protected] if you have any questions. Mahalo nui!
CRBLC Incentive Activity
Shop at our Scholastic Book Fair and earn INCENTIVE POINTS! Bring your receipt to the CRBLC as evidence and we will multiply the amount you spent by “10.” If EVERYONE in the grade level—students, teachers, counselors, EAs—purchases an item, earn a surprise BONUS amount for the entire grade level as a mahalo for supporting our PTO and literacy. Hope to see you all there!

The Future of Us by Jay Asher and Carolyn Mackler – ” What if you could see how your life would unfold–just by clicking a button? It’s 1996, and less than half of all American high school students have ever used the Internet. Emma just got her first computer and an America Online CD-ROM. Josh is her best friend. They power up and log on–and discover themselves on Facebook, fifteen years in the future. Everybody wonders what their destiny will be. Josh and Emma are about to find out.”
CRBLC Movie of the Week:
Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days – “During his summer vacation, ʻWimpy Kidʻ Greg Heffley, hatches a plan to pretend he has a job at a ritzy country club — which fails to keep him away from the season’s dog days, including embarrassing mishaps at a public pool and a camping trip that goes horribly wrong.”
