Assignments to 8/11/17

Read the Syllabus and Behavior Contract! Available on this blog under Information and Forms.

Connecting a Few Dots: Read the paragraph in Google Classroom. You do NOT have to answer the questions. Be sure to read the CONTEXT poster in class to see how your classmates and teacher defined context for history class.

World Map Challenge: Draw and label a map of the world from your mind. Full credit for full effort. Mistakes are expected and do not lower grade. This is a baseline so I know what you currently know.

Questions: Compose at least three questions of interest to you. They must be… open-ended, not answerable by looking up information, universal (people around the world ask this same kind of question), meaningful, and possibly playful. These will be used on your upcoming summative poster assignment. Write them in your GeoSHAPE booklet.

GeoSHAPE: Get the notes from the class lecture. (It’s fill in the blank.)

Learning Diagrams: Draw the first 10 from your vocabulary list in the GeoSHAPE booklet. Assigned 8/10 (Odd) and 8/11 (Even); Due 8/14 and 8/15.
