Welcome to Pilikanaka: 8th grade Social Studies. I am Kumu Prana Mandoe, aka “Kumu Pāhana.” I am excited to work with you, haumāna and ʻohana.

Our topic is social studies: the interaction of people with each other and our environment. Our study will center on the United States of America from colonization to the Civil War and Reconstruction… and on how this history affects us today.
