How Did the U.S. Expand?

Homework was to summarize each section we read in the textbook. 3 – 5 sentences per summary. Here are the sections:

Homework 4/24, 4/25: Ordinances, Indian Removal, 15.2, 15,3

Assigned for HW 4/25, 4/26: 15.4, 15.5, 15.6

Assignments 4/5 and 4/6

In the past few classes, students have:

Created a flier illustrating one right or freedom from the Bill of Rights (due 4/4 odd, 4/5 even, 4/6 pd. 1)
Completed an optional extra credit assignment: Bill of Rights in the News (Due 4/4 odd, 4/5 even)
Played a game titled “Branches of Power” on iCivics.org (Due 4/7 all; must finish game.)
Participated in a simulation (make-believe scenario) designed to illustrate how the executive, legislative, and judicial branches work together to pass and evaluate laws (in-class only)

Current Assignments:
