Introduction to Political Science [KHO3252 (Alt 11, 12)]
Semester Course
Prerequisite: Successful completion of or concurrent enrollment in US History
Open to grades 11 and 12
This course is meant to expose students to varying institutions, perspectives, and philosophies relating to power and government. This course prepares students to begin studies leading towards degrees and careers in government, law, community organizing, and other fields. This course has a particular emphasis on the politics of Hawaiʻi, both in the present and past.

Students must complete Hawaiʻi Pacific University and KHS paperwork in order to be enrolled in this dual credit semester course. Students who do NOT complete the paperwork will be registered into the non-DC course.
