Honors World History is a record of the adventures of humankind, both the famous and the ordinary, throughout thousands of years. Emphasis is placed on the historical development and changing political, social, economic and technological character of Western and non-Western societies. Students will examine these themes using multiple teaching and learning strategies, which include research, and independent, self-directed studies. This is a reading and writing-intensive course which will integrate English skills and world literature to the study of World civilizations and history.
Students will receive 1.0 English 10 credit and 1.0 Social Studies World History credit from this course.
