finances, such as budgeting, personal taxes, and paying for college. Students may take Introduction to Microeconomics or Introduction to Macroeconomics to fulfill their graduation requirements.

Prerequisite: Successful completion of Algebra 2

An introduction to elementary topics in microeconomics. Learn how individual decision-makers make the best choice possible through the use of economic analysis, and how those decisions affect our society. Prepare for further study in business, science, engineering, mathematics, philosophy, and other related fields. Gain the skills necessary to successfully manage your personal finances, such as budgeting, personal taxes, and paying for college. Successful completion earns 3 credit hours at Hawai‘i Pacific University for ECON 2010.

Students must complete Hawaiʻi Pacific University and KHS paperwork in order to be enrolled in this dual credit semester course.

Students who do NOT complete the paperwork will be registered into the non-DC course.
