Our Kula Waena Hawaiian Ensemble will be participating in the 2nd Annual E Mālama Mau I Ka Hula Festival sponsored by the Merrie Monarch Festival Committee this Saturday, October 19^th at the Edith Kanaka‘ole Multi-Purpose Stadium.  The event begins at 5:00 p.m. and costs $5.00.  Enjoy the festival and show your support for our Hawaiian Ensemble.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and to honor Princess Pauahi, who died of breast cancer on October 16, 1884, we will be wearing PINK on Friday, Oct. 18th.   ASKMS will be selling pink ribbon stickers for $1 this week at recess.  If you purchase a ribbon sticker, then you will be able to wear pink on Friday, Oct. 18^th.   All the money that we collect will be donated to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
