At KES, we are committed to exposing each child from K-6 to the world of STEAM.  Through collaboration with our teachers (grade-levels and specials),  many project-based learning opportunities will be available for the students each year.

Here are a few of the projects happening this year in some of the classrooms:

Kindergarten – Lego based projects and DASH based programming

1st – DASH based programming and Bloxel program creations

2nd – DASH for Measurement and Data

3rd – Aqua adventures (JFLL)

4th – Hawaiian Garden name plates

5th – Hydro Dynamics (FLL) investigation

6th – Renewable Energy – pilot program with a few students
