‘Ohana Pilina with Uncle Brian

Our class enjoyed listening to Uncle Brian, Miss Antida’s father, share about his job in our kaia’ulu as an Investigator at the Prosecutor’s Office. We learned that we should ALWAYS tell an adult if we are in danger and/or are uncomfortable in any situation. McGruff, the crime fighting dog even brought us some stickers on bicycle safety! The children were also excited to take their pictures for their keiki IDs. When Uncle Brian asked, “What are keiki IDs for?” most of the children knew it was for their parents to use to identify them in case of an emergency–although a few thought their IDs would entitle them to drive a car. Mahalo, Uncle Brian!
