Our Huaka‘i to The Radio Station and Hale Anuenue

The kindergarten classes enjoyed another outing into our kaiaulu, visiting the radio station and a nursing home.  We learned about the many services provided by our radio operators as well as how they record commercials and the many computers they use to run the station.

Kyleigh wrote:  “thank you for letting us talk on the microphones.”  Haylyn wrote: “thank you for showing me the big, big giant flashlight.”  Ty wrote:  “I learned about the DJs.  They had the music.  I like talking on microphones.”

At Hale Anuenue we sang Christmas carols to the kupuna.  The children made special Christmas cards to share with them as well.  There were many smiles and hugs of appreciation as we shared our aloha there.
