Applesauce Makers

How do you make applesauce?  Ask your kindergarten keiki- it’s easy and ono!  Mahalo to Aunty Heather for assisting us in this culinary adventure.  The children all had a chance to cut up apples, talking about wholes and parts.  After cooking them in our classroom, we pureed them through a food mill, added sugar and cinnamon and enjoyed!  Almost all agreed that it was the best applesauce they had ever tasted!
