Keiranʻs dad, Uncle Ray, came to our class to share his kuleana in our kaiāulu as a wildlife biologist. The keiki were fascinated by the artifacts he showed us and the information he shared. I know I wasnʻt aware that the nene goose was so close to extinction many years back. We learned the importance of people like him that work hard to keep animals safe as well as taking care of our aina.
Mahalo Uncle Ray!
