Kindergarten Visits the Gardens in Middle School

Last Friday both Kindergarten classes had a walking huaka‘i up to middle school. There Mr. Floro’s class of 6th graders met us and showed us how to plant kalo. There were big and little huli prepared to return to soil that the students had mulched as well. We all got our hands into the soil as we planted and had the chance to look around at other garden projects our middle school friends are doing as well. We plan to return in a month to notice and measure the growth.
