Our Huaka‘i to Hilo Coffee Mill and the Zoo

Mahalo to the ‘ohana members who came along on this latest field trip to places in our kaiaulu! We enjoyed learning about how coffee is roasted and the many chickens that live at the coffee mill. Then it was onto the zoo where we spent time in small groups observing some of the animals we have been learning information about this past week. This will help us as we do more informational writing next week on one selected animal.
