Classroom Maps

As part of our Kaia’ulu unit we have been learning about maps. The keiki listened to the story, “Me On the Map” and experienced drawing their own map of our classroom. They even worked in small groups to create a larger map of our room. Each group was given cut pieces of paper representing the desks, computers, listening table, play house table, homework table, puzzle table, and reading table. They needed to arrange their pieces of paper on their map, glue it down, and illustrate any other objects around the room.

Looks like we have some future mapmakers in KA!
