Ever tried a poi smoothie? It felt like Jamba juice time in KA last Friday when we made our healthy poi smoothies. We blended nutrition with math- our yes/no question if we liked them- and some writing of the process we did and came away with full tummies and the knowledge that most of us did indeed enjoy the taste of a poi smoothie! Here’s the recipe and some pictures of our experience.
Poi Smoothie: Poi, lowfat milk or soymilk,Peanut butter (we omitted) , bananas, frozen strawberries, apples, honey and crushed ice. Blend and enjoy! (We didn’t use any exact measurements…)
