Huaka’i

Our first stop on our Huaka’i was in HIlo at Mokupapapa. We were treated to a terrific movie where we learned about caring for our coral reef. Then the educational leader, Tanya, split our classes into three groups where we made coral polyps, learned what not to put in the ocean and toured the museum. What a great place to learn about our island home!
