Mahalo to Auntie Samantha, Thaiʻs mom, for coming and sharing a story she and Thai enjoy at home. It was an animal version of There was an Old Lady who Swallowed a Fly. Samantha is fluent in sign language and taught us signs for the different animals in her story. She also shared with the class about her childhood, giving us an opportunity to know her better.
We hope to have other members of kindergarten ‘ohana come and share your stories! It’s the first week of every month at 12:00 p.m.
