Mahalo from Dean

Aloha e Conference Participants:

Mahalo for joining us at this year’s KS Ed Tech Conference. We hope the conference exposed you to new thoughts and ideas, inspired you to embrace the tools of the read write web, and started you thinking about the road ahead – a road that David Warlick referred to as unpredictable? Good luck to you as you start blogging, podcasting, twittering and creating your very own personal learning networks. Remember what Will Richardson said, you have to learn about, adopt and use these tools before you can effectively teach and apply them with your students.

We will be updating our conference blog over the next few weeks so please be sure to check back often. Better yet, practice your RSS skills and subscribe to our blog to have the latest information pushed to you. Your thoughts, reflections and insights are important to us, so please post comments on our blog. And, most of all, please remember to fill out conference evaluations for each of the sessions you attended as well as the overall conference evaluation. You can access the online evaluation at: http://blogs.ksbe.edu/edtechconference/conference-evaluation/

For those who registered for the conference but were unable to attend, we hope to see you next year.

By the way, did you remember to email your partner from yesterday to share what you committed to doing? ☺

Mahalo,
Dean
