Abstract:
JEM is a partnership of schools, worldwide, whose goals include deepening global and local environmental awareness and promoting cultural understanding. A few years ago we took four students to a two-week JEM Earth Summit in Pennsylvania, and our on-going collaborations with BFS and other JEM schools afford us stimulating learning experiences. This past school year, KES hosted educational exchanges with two JEM schools for two weeks each. Representatives from these schools are here to share about JEM! Through our affiliation with the JEM Program, the KES JEM Club enjoyed its first year as an officially chartered club. The JEM Club is committed to the environment and service and began a school recycling program.
