Homework:

1.  Read Freak the Mighty chapters 4-8. In your tablet, come up with:

  • 3 Why questions
  • 3 How questions

Questions should be taken from chapters 4-8. You should not be able to answer the question from the current readings.

Examples from chapters 1-3:

  • Why did Freak have leg braces and use crutches?
  • How come Max lives with Grim and Gram?
  • How will Max and Freak become Freak the Mighty?

2.  Use the Personal Vision Statement rubric to assess your PVS.  Use the five “Characteristics of a Personal Vision Statement” notes in your tablet to help finalize your PVS.  Come to class on Friday with your final PVS ready to share and turn in.

  • brainstorm strong, precise keywords or domain specific vocabulary
  • write a Rough Draft of your PVS
  • Use the notes in your tablet and the Personal Vision Statement Rubric to help guide your writing. We will go over rubric in class on Wednesday.
