You will need to use your childʻs log in information to access the account. Classwork information, assignments, digital information, announcements, and other items will be here.

We have jumped right into discovering, learning, and building new relationships. This is our blog for English where there is some general information in the menu bar. Most of my communication with students, both general information and assignments, will be on Google Classroom. Please connect with your child and have them show you how you can log onto his/her account to see the exciting learning taking place in English!!

Steps:

1. Have your child log onto his/her Edmodo account.
2. Go to his/her English page.
3. In the left column, there is a Parent Code in a blue box.
4. Use that Parent Code to open a parent account on Edmodo.  https://www.edmodo.com
5. Please email me if you come across any challenges as you create your parent account.

Edomodo is:

“an educational website that takes the ideas of a social network and refines them and makes it appropriate for a classroom. Using Edmodo, students and teachers can reach out to one another and connect by sharing ideas, problems, and helpful tips.”

Our class uses and will use Edmodo to:

• Post daily hw assignments
• Post classwork information and docs
• Share information and docs
• Turn in assignments
• Take quizzes and/or tests
• Give and receive meaningful feedback on assignments, thoughts, ideas

Information that used to be shared here, will now be on Edmodo. The hope is to decrease the number of places students and families are needing to go for English information.

Parents can sign up for a Parent Account to follow their childʻs progress and see what weʻre doing at school.

1.  Work on 10 pt. Brainstorm and Storyboard

2.  Study Content Vocab words for Quiz tomorrow, #1-8.

3.  Check Edmodo for any announcements

4.  Check calendar for due dates and what to prepare for.

5.  This is the last week for RP to count for this quarter. Finish this weeks assigned sessions and any make-ups.  The # on the green bar needs to be the same or greater than the Goal number.

Homework:

1.  Check Edmodo

•      watch 2 photo booth videos explaining the rubric and 10 pt. brainstorm
• complete all assignments

1.  Play Quizlet for 20 mins. Look for the content vocab. words under ” Pauahi’s Legacy Content Vocabulary” or copy and paste the link below.  (I think you might have to log in with your m21, upper case, lower case info)
