It is important to live pono lives as our entire civilization relies on it. Living on a life that is NOT pono has a negative impact on everybody and disobeys the Word of God. A life that is not pono is a sin in my opinion as once again, it goes against to Word of God.
As our entire human population relies on each other, I feel that living pono is the way to go. If we all live pono and work with each other, the future will turn out to be a lot better than if we all avoid, and donʻt mālama each other.

Even though Jesus paid the price for us to be forgiven I still think it is important to live a Pono life. I think this because we would be taking advantage of what Jesus and God did for us. The point of being forgiven is to fix your mistakes and to become a better person which is what God would want.

As long as you are feeling like a victim, you are carrying a heavy burden. Forgiveness allows you to put the burden down. And simply walk away from it. And when I say walk away, I mean walk away in the sheltered arms of God. It allows me to be free.

Like it says some where in the bible,”all have sinned and fallen short or the glory of God”, and in 1 John 1:9 it says,” if we confess our sin, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins”, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t try to be like Him in everything we do.

I have found a scripture regarding living for God. “Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. ” (1 Peter 4:1-2) I feel this scripture explains why we should live pono lives better than I ever could.
