Math Matters is a nationwide program for elementary students with exceptional skills and a lively interest in Mathematics. The competition that our students participate in is sponsored by the Maui Chapter of the Hawaii Society of Professional Engineers.
The objectives of the Math Matters program are:
- To promote interest and enthusiasm for mathematics;
- To strive toward mathematics excellence; and
- To increase the importance of mathematics among students, parents, educators, and the general public.
