5th Grade shares their Makawalu

Makawalu translates to “eight eyes”- in other words to see through many eyes.  The elementary classes were graciously invited to learn from their older brothers and sisters about the earlier times of Kamehameha the great and his descendant, Hawaii-life during those times compared to what was happening in American history.  It was truly fascinating to visit with the 5 th graders as they shared their expertise on an  area/person of those times.  Mahalo!
