The third graders in 3A and 3B are learning the Fruit of the Spirit this year. So far they have learned about how we are made in God’s image, to have heart like His, and that producing the Fruit of the Spirit is a matter of Pilina with God and having lots of help from the Holy Spirit. They also learned that each value or characteristic found in Galatians 5:22-23 is an action and not just pretty words.
Yesterday and today, 3rd graders made a Love pull-card that reminds us of where love comes from, and when we put real aloha into action, it helps to build new Pilina or connections, and can even strengthen our relationships that we already have. Please ask your child to share their card with you and perhaps discuss ways to show love every day.
