1. Complete a Journal Write for each day you are working on your waʻa. See Google Classroom for requirements. Be sure to date each entry and keep all entries on ONE document. If you already submitted, just unsubmit the assignment and continue typing on the same document.
2. Extra credit assignment in Google Classroom due this Thursday (2/9/17).

1. Complete Journal Write for today in Google Classroom. For odd periods, this is your second entry into your Waʻa Project Journal (in Google Classroom). For even periods, this is your first entry.
2. Check out Extra Credit Opportunity in Google Classroom.

For each day you are in VTAM you will be required to write a paragraph about what you did in class. Go to Google Classroom to view the requirements.

1. Study waʻa parts for QUIZ next class. Mr. Courtotʻs blog contains waʻa resources that may help you study for the quiz.
2. Go to Mr. Courtotʻs blog, VTAM 7th Grade Waʻa Project. Watch the videos on Building Your Waʻa: 3. How to shape your kaʻele and 5. Making your ama and ʻiako. Know what to do before coming to class!

Go to the Ellison Onizuka Science Day on Saturday, January 28 at UH Hilo. Attend a workshop, bring a piece of evidence to show that you attended a workshop – show Mr. Kaaa, write a paragraph describing your experience. See the attached flyer for more information. Evidence and Paragraph due by Friday, February 3rd.
