Canvas

Overview

Canvas is the primary learning management system (LMS) used at KS for coursework, assignments, grades, communication, and class resources. Students use Canvas daily to access class materials, submit work, check deadlines, and receive feedback from teachers. Canvas is available on KS‑issued MacBooks and through any modern web browser.

Access & Eligibility

    • Faculty and Staff

Login

  1. Visit https://www.ksbe.edu/canvas in your Chrome browser.
  2. Click “KS Login” under the ‘KS faculty, students and staff’ section on the left-hand side.
  3. Login with your KS email address and password.

My grade in Canvas does not reflect my grade in Infinite Campus.

Please refer to Infinite Campus (IC) for your grades. IC is the official platform where teachers post student grades, not Canvas.

However, each course and teacher utilizes the ‘Grades’ section on Canvas differently. If you have any questions about your grade displaced in Canvas, please contact your teacher.

I can’t find one of my courses in Canvas.

Please contact your counselor or teacher. This could indicate an issue with your enrollment in the course. Or, your teacher has not added you to the course.
