Adobe Premier Pro

Overview

Adobe Premiere Pro is a professional video‑editing application used for media production, digital arts, and general multimedia coursework and projects. Students can use Premiere Pro to edit video clips, add audio, apply transitions, color‑correct footage, and export final projects for class assignments or presentations. Premiere Pro is part of the Adobe Creative Cloud suite and integrates with Photoshop, After Effects, and Audition.

Installation & Login

1. Open “Spotlight Search” by clicking on the spotlight/magnifier icon in the top-right corner of the laptop’s menu bar.
2. Search for “Adobe Creative Cloud” and open the application.
3. Login with your KS email and password.
4. Under the ‘Apps’ tab of Adobe Creative Cloud, find the ‘Premier’ application and click “Install.”
5. Once the installation completes, click “Open” next to Premier Pro to launch the application.
