Adobe Lightroom

Overview

Similar to Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom is a photo‑editing and photo‑management application used at Kamehameha Schools Kapālama for image organization and editing. Students use Lightroom to organize photos, adjust lighting and color, apply presets, and prepare images for projects or portfolios. Lightroom integrates seamlessly with Photoshop, making it ideal for both beginners and advanced photo editors.

Installation & Login

1. Open “Spotlight Search” by clicking on the spotlight/magnifier icon in the top-right corner of the laptop’s menu bar.
2. Search for “Adobe Creative Cloud” and open the application.
3. Login with your KS email and password.
4. Under the ‘Apps’ tab of Adobe Creative Cloud, find the ‘Lightroom’ application and click “Install.”
5. Once the installation completes, click “Open” next to Lightroom to launch the application.
