Adobe InDesign

Overview

Adobe InDesign is a professional layout and publishing application that is primarily used for creating posters, newsletters, brochures, magazines, and general print‑ready materials. Students often use InDesign for text-heavy communication documents. InDesign integrates with Photoshop and Illustrator, making it ideal for projects that combine text, images, and graphics.

Installation & Login

  1. Open “Spotlight Search” by clicking on the spotlight/magnifier icon in the top-right corner of the laptop’s menu bar.
  2. Search for “Adobe Creative Cloud” and open the application.
  3. Login with your KS email and password.
  4. Under the ‘Apps’ tab of Adobe Creative Cloud, find the ‘InDesign’ application and click “Install.”
  5. Once the installation completes, click “Open” next to InDesign to launch the application.
