Spring Break 2020

Aloha,

Hope you all are enjoying the start of your Spring Break 2020!

While this break is unprecedented with concerns about COVID-19, please remember to relax and enjoy time with family and friends (maybe virtually) while maintaining personal distancing, good hygiene, and adhering to the guidance of health professionals and school/community leaders.

Here are some important tips for your break:

• Please remember to keep your device clean: Here is Apple’s guidance on how to clean your assigned device: How to clean your Apple products. Quick Tip: Don’t spray your device with liquid!

• Please remember to keep your MacBook Air sufficiently charged. Allowing your battery to die will cause connectivity issues and other abnormal behavior. Keep your device charged and when warned about low power, please plug-in.

• Care for your device. Please use the assigned sleeve when transporting your computer and do not carry your MacBook Air by the screen (we see you do this on campus, by the way). During campus closure we are unable to issue a loaner if your device breaks so take care of this precious resource Ke Aliʻi Pauahi has provided for you. Be good stewards!

• Reach out! If you’re having trouble please Contact Us. Keep in mind that on break our staff may be taking time off, or preparing to support you during our Distance Learning Plan, but we will reach out to you as soon as possible. We will resume normal hours when we return to school via our High School Distance Learning Plan.

Please take care, get some rest, and be vigilant.

Mahalo,

Ke Koʻi Lipi Staff
