Are you ready for Ho’olokahi? We will be having a 6th grade rehearsal on April 30, 7:50-8:10am, on the basketball courts. Ho’olokahi will be on Friday, May 2 at 9am. Don’t forget to give your parents their parking pass! Have a great cycle!

Day 1, Thurs., April 24
Today we voted on our favorite land legacy poster for each class. You can view them in the atrium. I passed back your Land Legacy Project. Overall, you did well. Any revisions need to be turned in by May 1. I also collected the second copy of your Land Lineage Project reflection, so I can give it to Mrs. Kahue for your memory book.

Day 2, Fri., April 25
Today I will pass back Math Reflection p.15. Overall, the classes did very well. Put it in your portfolio behind the tab for BPII. I will also pass back the Check-Up quiz, and we will will go over it. Get it signed tonight, and all corrections are due by May 2. Then, we will work on 3.1 and 3.2 which is about multiplying fractions.

Today I will check for the parent signature on the Check Up quiz, and we will put it in your Math portfolio. We will check 3.1, 3.2, and the ACE from Friday. Then we will learn about modeling multiplication situations in 3.3.

Today we will check 3.3 and the ACE from Monday. Then, we will work on 3.4.

Today we will check 3.4 and the ACE from Tuesday. Then, we will work on 3.5 (writing a multiplication algorithm).

I’m going to wear a plumeria lei. I chose that because it smells good and I think that it’s better than Kukui nut leis.

Huntyr, we’re going to have a regular school day, ending till 2:30. It will be lanoʻonoʻo, and you will have specials or recess from 1pm to the end of the school day.
