Ohana Alert for the Week of March 11-22

The weeks are sure flying by and we are deep into the month of March now…Let me begin by saying Mahalo to everyone for coming to Student-Led Conferences last week.  It is always nice to see all of you as we bind together like the olonā to help “our” children succeed!  The students did  a wonderful job of sharing their successes and identifying what their areas of need to continue to work on using the Book Creator app on the iPads.  Can you believe they did that in a day! (Since the iPads arrived a little late)  Maikaʻi Loa!  Reminder to please return all report card envelopes to class, if you havenʻt already done so.  Will try to add a new Hawaiian word to our posts and highlight it in green.

As you all know, we are working hard with the iPads as we pilot this in hopes of going 1:1 in the near future…We will be trying something new with technology and learning daily, ask your keiki for the highlights of the day.  Continuous Challenge to Haumāna:  Remember to share!  That will surely make your ohanaʻs day!  No Fine, IDK, or boring accepted! 😉  Sharing continues to build pilina at home too!
