Kaulana Na Pua

ATTENTION OHANA: The students have been learning about Lili’uokalani in class for awhile now. If you click on the “Finale Song” bar under the header, you will find the music. What does it mean? Who wrote it? Why is it significant? Why is it the “Rock Eating Song?” “What is the feeling of this song?” These are all questions that your keiki will be able to answer. Mrs. Debus has been “instrumental” (get my joke, I crack myself up!) in helping us learn this somber song. All kidding aside, Mrs. Debus has been hard at work helping students to learn this monumental song. It is part of our Hawaiian history. Go ahead, ask your keiki about the Lili’uokalani learning going on in class. Students: Got Answers? Share your mana’o with your ohana! Sing a few verses for them. Have a great time sharing and learning together! Don’t forget that you need to bring in 15 more facts on Lili’uokalani tomorrow.
