Welcome to KS Blogs!
Here we hope to integrate digital mediums with traditional learning through the exploration of Podcasting and Blogging.

What is a Blog? A blog is a website where entries are written in chronological order and displayed in reverse chronological order. “Blog” can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs. Most blogs are primarily textual, although some incorporate other media types such as video or audio, that can be consumed as a podcast.

What is a Podcast? The word “podcasting” is a combination of the words “iPod” and “Broadcasting.” In its current form, it’s a way for people to be able to selectively subscribe to audio content over the Internet. This audio content can then be automatically downloaded via a “feed” to a computer or mobile device, such as an iPod.

People can subscribe to feeds from Web sites that they like to read, so that the most current information that they are interested in is pushed to them.
