Farming – Humid with little wind. In olden days, women make bark cloth (Kapa), men hunt and fish. Crops maturing. Mountain apples plentiful through Hinaiaʻeleʻele. Starch, yams, arrowroot attain full growth.
Fishing – Warm and sticky with little wind. Good for pāpio (following young weke), weke, moi, uhu, akule, squid. ʻŌpelu starting to run. Moi makes first great run 4 to 5 nights after full moon. Lobster season closed. Moi season closed June 1 – August 31.
