Ka Waihona ʻIke Hawaiʻi a me ka Pākīpika, The Hawaiʻi-Pacific Collection provides students, teachers and staff with a full range of materials pertaining to Hawaiʻi and the Pacific. We are located on the third floor, near the LANI area.

The collection includes over 12,000 books, periodicals, pamphlet files, pictures, charts, maps, DVDs, CDs, videotapes, audiotapes, vinyl records and music sheets.

The collection is divided into four circulation groups:

• The General Collection (open shelving) items may be checked out for two weeks (H designated preceding the call number)
• Hawaiʻi Pacific Reserve (materials are designated with a HR preceding the call numbers)
• Vertical Files (VF designation preceding the call numbers)
• Vault Materials (HV designation preceding the call numbers)

Some “reserve section” materials may be borrowed overnight while others are restricted to in-room use. Vault and Vertical File items are for in-room use only.
