Wa’a Planning: Be the Sail (Pe’a)

Doing research on canoe parts.

A sail is a piece of fabric rigged to a boat that is used to convert the force of the wind into forward motion of the vessel. As you begin to design your wa’a, be the force to move your group forward. Help with the drawing of your plan, be responsible for building the different parts and encourage your group members to do their best! Plan to build a wa’a that you can be proud of at the end.

Homework for 1/22: VTAM Book pages 5 & 6.  NOTE: All homework is due the next class period.
