The Marvel of Making Graphic Novels

On Thursday, November 16th, 2017 7th grade classes were introduced to Aaron Kuder, illustrator for Marvel Comics.  This session was designed around understanding the creative process for student authors and artists creating graphic narratives.  Students were able to see the creative process from early concept sketches to the final end product that is then published and consumer ready.  Narrative story telling through images and the graphic novelʻs importance in past and present society was discussed.  Aaron shared his experiences as a young aspiring, and now professional artist.  Aaron has helped to produce several well known comics such as Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men, Spider-Man, and Superman.
